Hello! I’m Mai and I can’t wait to meet you and your pets! I grew up on a farm in Sacramento and was raised around animals my entire life. I’ve raised puppies, bottle fed kittens, and have owned chickens, goats, and horses. I love all animals and can’t wait to meet your pets ❤️ I have a medium-sized dog named Maru. She is people, dog, and even cat friendly! She would love nothing more but to be friends with you and your pets. She has helped my boyfriend and me socialize dogs that we fostered from the animal shelter to help them find loving homes. For boarding and doggy-day care meet & greets, you and your pets will be able to meet me, Maru, my boyfriend, and visit our apartment to ensure everyone is comfortable with each other :) **If you are a foster or with a 501(c)(3) rescue organization, please message me directly for discounted rates.

I love pets of all sizes, ages, and breeds ♡ • Due to RSV, I sanitize before entering any home and handling any pets. Please let me know where you are comfortable taking your pet during this time. • As my boyfriend and I both WFH, we will always have a watchful eye on your pet. We also have a Furbo with all alert types on to ensure the safety of your pet.

For all new Rover requests, I do require meet and greets so we can see if we’ll all be a good fit together :) The most important thing to me is ensuring that both you and your pet are comfortable and happy in my care. Note: Meet and greets can be waived for urgent requests. For urgent boarding and doggy day care, dogs must be socialized. Please message me if you have any questions or concerns.
A typical day
I love playing with dogs and taking them on long walks (or runs!) to get their zoomies out or to let them get a sniff of all the neighborhood smells :) It’s always fun to see what each pupper gets excited about when we get to the park or when we play with their favorite toys. My dog Maru loves playing with other dogs! If your dog is social, boarding with us would be a blast for your pet! We live near 2 big parks (one of them is very busy, and the other is very empty), go walking/jogging 2-3 times a day, and can provide more or less depending on your dog's needs. On the weekend, we love going on hikes in the forest or to the beach and would love to take your dog along with us!

Availability
I currently work from home full time so my schedule is very flexible! Which means that your pet will be hanging out with me all day! Since I work remotely, I can be with your pet as often, or as little as they need (I am available to provide bathroom breaks every 0-2 hours, perfect for puppies!). The only times I may step out of the house are for other rover drop ins or dog walk requests, but this will be communicated with you in advanced. My boyfriend also works from home so someone will always be with your dog (great for those with separation anxiety!) You’ll be able to meet the both of us during boarding and doggy day care meet and greets. I’ll always provide transparency with my schedule and communication :)
