Pet care experience
I was raised with animals, I’ve be responsible for my own cat and dog since I was 12. I have experience working with dogs of all sizes, ages, and energy levels. I have two dogs and two cats of my own. My youngest dog is a rescue with a history of abuse which has taught me the patience that is required to work with scared/nervous dogs. I am willing to give your pet baths, take them for runs, and ensure that I’ll love them as if they were my own :)

Mahala was the absolute best dog sitter! Professional, on time, and very courteous. My two greyhounds loved her - and they’re a bit picky! She’s got enough spunk to play around with them and a heart for animals that is truly touching. What makes her so stand-out is that she is capable of running along side and after the dogs, so it wasn’t always just a slow walk. My dogs loved it and I really appreciated that they had variety to their walks. I would recommend Mahala for dogs of all sizes and personalities!

If your pet needs to be cared for in my home, I have a fenced in back yard for them to use the bathroom and play. There are also several walking paths around my neighborhood I could take your pet to. If allowed, I have plenty of toys (pets are always supervised when a toy is being used) ranging from soft plushies to hard chew toys. I never leave a pet unattended. While I do have two medium sized dogs and two cats, I could keep them separated while staying at my house. If I am caring for your pet in your home, I will follow all given instructions to ensure to respect your space and uphold your pets routine.

A typical day
Depending on the dogs energy level and the owners preference we could go on a short leisure walk, a run, or a long jog. If your pet needs more mental stimulation, I can practice their trick with them, play with their favorite toys, or even do a treat scavenger hunt!

I am currently only working part time on select weekends selling merchandise for a band. Besides this, my schedule is usually open during weekdays and some weekends
