Pet care experience
Hi! My name is Mags (short for Maggie) and I was born into a family of active animal lovers. Growing up we always had at least one pup in our home along with an assortment of small animals. My schedule is flexible as I work part-time from home which allows me the opportunity to provide an active (or lazy) day for visiting furrriends! I’ve been a volunteer for Seattle Humane, Motley Zoo Rescue and Homeward Pet for the last 3 years and foster doggos throughout the year. To date my husband Damian and I have helped save and care for 13 pups through these organizations, from tiny to extra large and the average pup up to and including special needs (or extra awesome as we like to say). Photography is a hobby that we both share so naturally we thoroughly enjoy capturing precious moments for not only our pups but visitors during their stays, so if you love receiving high quality updates we've got you covered. We’ve used Rover as clients and now that we have the right property/space and I have more time, I’m ready to love on more fur babes! Our property has a good sized portion that is fenced and the rest feels like a private doggie trail. Being just a few minutes walking distance to Tolt Pipeline Trail we're able to provide scenic walks or runs for those high energy or curious pups. Damian and I are active and love the outdoors, so we'd love to know how your furry kiddo prefers to be stimulated! Our household is always stocked with local baked doggie treats of all kinds (we're also very familiar with food allergies so let us know what your pup can enjoy) to spoil pups and enforce continued great behaviors. Riggins and Rue are our two fur babies and have been consistently enrolled in daycare since the ages of 10-12 weeks (they are ~3 – 4 years now). They are VERY familiar with visitors as we’ve fostered many pups throughout their lifetime and they have many fur and human cousins being that I come from a large family. Although we trust our doggos, they are never unsupervised with any visitors. In our home, dogs are family!

Our puppy Jasper absolutely loved his daycare with Mags & Damian! He spent three great days with them and came home each evening happy and exhausted from playing with their sweet doggos. We've already re-booked for our next visit! Mags was incredibly thoughtful about socializing him individually with each dog and before long he'd made 3 new friends! He even seemed a little disappointed this morning when he realized he wasn't going to see them. I received numerous photos, videos and updates throughout each day and could not have asked for better communication, from my first request to book through the end of his last visit. Mags asked lots of questions about our preferences for rules and also how she could help reinforce the training we are working on at home. She even helped us get him to use bells for house training! He got lots of outside play time and walks too. I give Mags & Damian my highest recommendation as a responsible, safe, loving and fun dog and puppy sitters.
I have known Mags & Damian for a numbers of years, having first a professional relationship with them, and then becoming good friends. Throughout the years, Mags and Damian have shown tremendous love for dogs, rescuing two dogs and fostering numerous other dogs. I have personally used them to dogsit my own dog before and I couldn't have been happier how my dog was treated in their care. I am a worrying by nature so I was able to get updates on how my dog was doing while I was gone. He received plenty of socialization and exercise while in their care as well. I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants their dog to feel at home and wonderfully cared for!
Mags is one of the most caring individuals when it somes to animals. She has two pups of her own who are incredible with new dog friends that come to visit. She is a very experienced dog foster mom. Mags has watched my pup for me in the past and I didn’t blink an eye or wonder how she was doing. She has a ton of experience with dogs of any age, breed and size!
Mags is an animal lover through and through. Not only is she dedicated to her own doggos, she also works with local rescues and fosters pups in need. You couldn’t find a better person to care for your fur babies!

Any special needs, medications, or allergies we need to be aware of? Is your dog(s) up to date on vaccinations? Is your dog(s) well socialized, what type of play style or preference does your pup(s) have? And how does your dog(s) like to be exercised? What type of training have you've done with your dog(s) and do they know basic commands? Is your dog(s) housebroken and crate trained? Does your dog(s) have separation anxiety? Anything that startles your pup (car rides, specific sounds, people wearing hats)? We love all breeds of doggos in our home and do not discriminate.
A typical day
Have you ever dreamt of a vacation for your pup (ideally when you’re on vacation too)? A weekend with Mags, Damian, Riggins + Rue offers just that! We focus on one family at a time so that we can provide a custom + puptastic away-from-home experience, we also foster for local rescues + shelters so this allows us the ability to continue to open up our home for an animal in need and creates the space for that organization to help save more lives. Fostering happens throughout the year, one dog at a time (unless they are small pups that only need short term care) and we take breaks in-between each one so that our dogs receive our full attention + love. If your pup is one that enjoys walks or jogs, we live minutes from Tolt Pipeline Trail and we'd love to tire them out however they/you prefer. Do they love swims + lake days, hikes or brewery dates? Romping around the Disneyland of Dog Parks, Marymoor Off-Leash Dog Park? Not the active type but loves a good special (pawrent approved) treat, cuddle, sun spot nap or a lazy stroll up + down the property for sniffs? Worried they won’t stay caught up on their favorite television show? Fret not, we have Netflix + other subscription based TV options along with a comfy couch, dog beds + cots for them to relax on. We have experience with all size pups and are equipped with every size kennel from Chihuahua to Great Dane, so if your pup enjoys uninterrupted naps or overnight sleep in a safe place –– we've go them covered!
