Pet care experience
I have two Amazing Kitties of my own....and they sure like the word Amazing (it makes them purrr!!) They are my world and bring so much joy! I continuously enjoy meeting new furries. They all touch me deeply with such unique personalities. Dogs and cats tend to feel safe with my gentleness. I have much experience caring for cats in a previous business I managed in Vancouver. More recently, I have been walking packs of dogs in the North Vancouver mountains. I have Pet First Aid (Walks 'n' Wags Certified Pet First Aid), and I have special interest in pet nutrition, herbs and healing. I feel that in most cases, dis-ease in the body can be healed. Over the years my boys and I have reversed issues such as cat allergies, asthma, ibs, and kidney dis-ease.

Whether a visit, walk, or staying overnight in your home, I pay attention to the balance of practical and emotional needs. I connect with your pet upon arriving, with some love and pets. Then I water, feed, and scoop the litter box, as well as doing a 'safety sweep' of the environment. I have found stoves on, and unsafe situations...so I'm very aware of keeping an eye out for this. Afterwards, there is time to play, cuddle, brush, and love your little guy. I always leave with an 'I love you'.

I would like to know about any physical issues to watch for, as well as any behavioral and emotional challenges. I would also inquire about how they do, and feel with new pet sitters. And finally, knowing who their vet is, and if they are already connected with the local emergency vet, would be important to know.
A typical day
Fun activities may include toys and treats, lots of pets and encouragement, as well as being open to go on their favorite walks, trails and adventures. Small pups and kitties may enjoy adventuring in a back pack!
