Pet care experience
Hi y’all! I’m a military spouse and stay at home baseball mom with over 25 years experience taking care of pups and cats of all ages and sizes. Let me love your fur baby like I love my own! I also am a medical foster for local rescue organizations. I have taken care of the sick and injured cats and dogs in the area, nursing them back to health and providing a sanctuary for healing. We have a 3 year old golden retriever named Daisy who loves everyone. 🐾I’m currently taking Jackson Galaxy’s Cat Pawsitivie training thru a local rescue group🐾 My schedule is very flexible and am always willing to help last minute. I can accommodate almost anytime (minus the middle of the night). I have great references and am pet sitter insured as well as CPR trained for dogs and cats. I'm also enrolled in dog training and obedience course to better help my clients with their training needs for their dogs. ~Pet CPR and first aid trained ~ Active Member of National Association of Professional Pet Sitters (NAPPS)~ ~Previously worked for Banfield

Maggie is the first person we have ever left our pup with. We rescued him during the pandemic and he had rarely been left on his own. HE LOVED BEING THERE! Once I saw the pictures I could tell he wasn’t moping around. He loved having friends to play with, space to run, and a fine hole to work on. Maggie and her family are wonderful caretakers. I recommend 100% and we will bring the Shrub back for many playdates. Thanks Maggie!! Shrubber misses you!

I take extra safety precautions, including each dog having their own water and food bowls-plenty of separation of space and limited amount of dogs at one given time. **if you bring your own pet bowls please write their name on them** I offer sitting in my home or yours (drop in visits and walks) and if boarding in my home your pup will be treated just like a member of our family! I don’t do overnight stays in your home, only regular drop in visits as I have kiddos. I’m home almost 24/7 so can accommodate any schedule. My kiddos love pups and cats just like I do and are my helpers-your fur baby will be in fantastic hands here! We have a good size fenced back yard for lots of play time as well as a great neighborhood for walks. I’m also more than happy to board or sit cats! I have a cat room in my home. So why pick me? I have not only experience but I'm home regularly so your dog or cat will be a member of our family while here and will get the care and exercise they want and need! I can also bathe and trim nails if needed to! Also, I will send you pictures and videos regularly! Im trained in pet first aid and CPR as well as an insured provider and an active member of the National Pet Sitters Association. I ensure everything is sanitized throughout the day with rescue grade germicidal.

Please let me know if your pup is ok with other dogs, cats and kids. My cats are very friendly. Also any special needs, diet restrictions etc. if they sleep in a crate, please make sure to bring or I can provide if you don’t have one (if available) I don't need to have a meet and greet ahead of time only if you request one. Just let me know any pertinent information needed for your fur babies stay.
A typical day
I love to stimulate your pup physically and mentally. With a large fenced yard we will play, we will relax, take regular potty breaks, treats (if allowed)… I also bake my own dog or cat treats so please let me know if that’s ok to give! We also go on regular walks if your dog prefers that! I’m currently working on making an agility course in the backyard! We have had a corgi who is trained in agility and came in third place at the pet expo :)

Ask me about military and first responder discount (for stays over 3 days) I’m currently a stay at home mom so I’m very flexible! I’m available last minute for visits in your home or mine(preferred), dog walking and even grooming. I also bake all home made natural dog treats that your pup can go home with! -I love last minute bookings!-
