Great care for your pet & your home

Pet care experience

I have cared for many pets over the past few years. When I pet/house-sit, it's often for overnights and have stayed for as long as 2 weeks, but am available to do longer with no problem. I have just returned from traveling and living in New Zealand and have a VERY flexible schedule while I look for a full-time job. I love to be outside and am active, so having the company of a furry friend on walks and hikes is always a delight! I am happy to take care of plants and bring mail/packages while taking care of your lovely pets. Please let me know if I'm someone you would consider to house/pet-sit for you. I have cared for as many as three dogs in one home at a time. I've sat for many breeds small and large, including pitbulls, great danes, pugs, boxers, mixed breeds, and many others. I have experience caring for dogs with anxiety and other needs. Why I love dog sitting I have always loved dogs. Pupper was my dog throughout childhood and I loved her so much! As an adult, I've travel quite a bit, so as much as I would like to have my own dog, I just don't feel like I can give one my full attention and travel as much as I do. This is why I love dog-sitting. When I am in town, I get to cuddle and play with so many wonderful dogs! My experience administering medication I am comfortable administering medication so long as I am given clear instructions on how to do so.

Maggie was wonderful!! my dog coco has a anxiety and I was very concern to leave her with anyone. But Maggie was not only made me feel good about being away by keep updating with pictures and new information at every visit, coco fell in love with Maggie at first visit. Maggie sure has some special connection with our 4 legs friends! She is highly recommended.

Maggie was available and flexible last minute when we needed someone to stay with our pup Molly. She provided updates and we came home to a happy puppy and a clean apartment. Definitely recommend booking with her!

Maggie was great and I'd recommend her as a dog sitter in a heartbeat! My pups are really active and she made sure they got plenty of outside playtime and sent daily updates with pictures. On top of taking good care of them, she took good care of my house while I was gone. My pups were well loved and my home was looked after- I couldn't have been more pleased. I'll definitely be booking Maggie for future trips!

Information Maggie S. would like to know about your pet

Before caring for a dog, it's important to know if there are any health and/or behavioral issues. I want to make sure the dogs I sit for are taken care of the same way they are by their family. I think it's important for dogs to feel as little stress as possible when their family is out of town, and communicating with the owners is the best way to make that happen.

A typical day

Time I'll spend with your dog I will spend a lot of time with your dog. On an internship day I would be gone for 8-9 hours, but would go straight to your home after to walk and spend time with your dog. Extra house-sitting services Absolutely! When staying in someone's home, I am more than happy to take in the mail, water plants, and make sure garbage, recycling, and compost are put out on the pick-up days.
