Pet care experience
I’ve owned dogs dogs my entire life and visit my parent’s multiple times a week. As a child, and still to this day, I’ve always been the one to train my family and friends dog (e.g., basic commands, center, heel, play dead)! I’m quite athletic and enjoy going on long hikes/runs with my dogs, play tug o’ war, training new tricks, and snuggling with them at night. I understand animal body language and do not get nervous around reactive dogs, taking the necessary precautions to prevent an accident. If you’re interested, I’d prefer to do a meet and greet prior to accepting a booking, or conversing to understand your animal, their routine, and its needs.

Maggie was a great sitter! I felt she was very responsible, knowledgeable, and trusting to take good care of my one year old pup. She did Winston's favorite activities with him and he loved her company.
Maggie took great care of our house and dog. She’s very responsible, responsive and loves to cuddle and play with Molly. We felt very comfortable leaving Molly in her care and she helped quarterback some house issues while we were away. Maggie was very attentive and communicated with us the whole time she was staying with our dog.

Socialization/reactivity with other people, cats, dogs, children, etc. Physical limitations, health concerns, ability to listen to certain commands, and temperament. I will ask several necessary questions in order to know the animals day-to-day lifestyle/schedule.
A typical day
For me, it all depends on the dog; but in general, we’ll go for walks in the morning, lunch, and evening. Activities can include: fetch on a 20ft leash at a baseball diamond, throwing the toy inside/outside, training (if you’d like), long 1+ mile walks/jogs, and (of course) lots of playing! Important Note: the above depends on the owner’s preference, dog’s temperament, age, physical limitations, and ability to listen to commands.

I work from home 100% of the time and am able to work from anywhere with reliable wifi! I enjoy doing outdoors activities (I.e., hiking, walks, going to the beach and swimming), and can match a dog’s activity level.
