I grew up volunteering at a dogsledding kennel and eventually started working at the summer camp that was run there. In my 5 years there I learned a lot about exercising, caring for, and training both Siberian and Alaskan huskies as well as the farm dogs there. I gained a lot of experience caring for dogs with medical issues, older dogs and training puppies. I currently work as a nanny/household manager for a family with a black lab and have been working alongside them to help train her in better manners, specifically around food. I also make sure that she is fed and exercised every day.
