Hi! I have been an animal lover all my life, and feel most complete when I'm around them. I believe in a gentle, positive approach to handling animals and respect them for the incredible creatures they are! I've grown up with dogs, and have experience working with aggressive dogs, so I feel comfortable in nearly any situation. I like to think about dogs as beings with unique personalities and particular needs, and I don't believe there's a 'one size fits all approach' to handling them. I am an avid outdoor enthusiast, so I love hiking and long walks, and prefer to get your dog off the pavement. I really look forward to meeting your canine friend! Maggie is the best dog mom! She cares for her two pups so well! As one of her friends and vet techs at the local veterinary clinic, I highly recommend Maggie to take care of your pups! If you are in need of a dog sitter or walker Maggie should be at the top of your list! She has owned a dog all of her life and dogs of all personalities tend to gravitate to her. Her patience and thoughtfulness lend to a healthy and trusting relationship, and she is good at reading into dog behavior and knowing how to minimize stress when dogs are less comfortable around other dogs or people. Maggie is active herself, so if your pup likes to go on adventures and long walks, she would be happy to accommodate. You and your pup will be happy you chose Maggie.

Most importantly how they respond to other dogs and humans! I have no problem caring for a 'special-needs' dog (my parent's dog is an aggressive neutered male golden retriever) but I would ask for total honesty. I'm will maintain any training protocol you have in place.
A typical day
It depends on where you live, but I love getting off the beaten path, whether to a dog park or just a big human park. I'm happy to throw balls if your pup is into that! I’m also happy to offer transportation in my car.
