Pet care experience
All my life, I have always had pet cats. That’s 13 cats I’ve kept as pets throughout my lifetime! My family rescued (and continues to rescue) cats, many of which come to them with special needs. We’ve cared long term for a diabetic cat, a cat that was FIV positive, a cat missing teeth, and a fragile kitten found stuck under the hood of a car. I love all cats, and I have special experience taking care of ones that are medically fragile. I also have experience caring for guinea pigs and am happy to care for rodents as well!

I strictly follow the guidelines you have set and provided me with concerning the safety of your cat. If your cat is strictly indoors, then I will take special care to not let them out the door. If your cat needs brushing 3 times per day, then I will make sure to come by 3 times per day for thorough brushing. If your cat needs medication, I will make sure all of their medication gets administered properly to them.

A typical day
Every cat has a unique personality, so the way I interact with them depends on the cat. I love to pet, brush, and hold affectionate lap cats. I love to play with energetic cats who are looking for fun. Laser lights, toy mice, and strings on sticks are some of my favorite cat toys. If your cat is skittish or just prefers alone time, I am happy to just make sure they have all the food and fresh water they need and ensure they have a clean litter box.

Availability
I currently work part time, so I have plenty of time to devote to caring for cats. My schedule is flexible, so I am able to come by to feed your cat, freshen their water, clean their litter box, give them some love, administer medications, brush their fur, and do any other needed care daily for your cat. I am also able to check in on your cat multiple times per day if needed.
