Pet care experience
I have over 10 years experience caring for dogs (my own and clients) in both my home and theirs. I am a dog trainer and love fun dogs that are open to learning new things. I have worked in private boarding facilities and aided in active play to the dogs in our doggy daycare program! I am very knowledgeable in dog body language and behavior and easily read situations where a dog may be uncomfortable. My goal is to provide you with a safe and secure environment to board your dog while you are away! I'm happy to cater to any behavioral and medical needs/wants as I have years of experience caring for medically fragile, special needs, and senior dogs. I am comfortable with oral and injection medications as well as supplements. i will focus your pets stay around quality time and play/exercise. My philosophy is a tired dog is a happy dog so I enjoy several hours of active play with my personal dogs and am happy to adjust to the needs of your dog too! I know how difficult it can be to leave your pets behind when you travel so I will care for your dog as if he/she is one of my own and I will make sure they are happy and comfortable the whole stay. I am happy to provide phone call, text, picture messaging, and email communication with you during your pets stay.

Maggie was great with my dog. She came to meet her prior to my trip, and my dog was very comfortable with her. We chatted while they got to know one another, and Maggie knows a lot about training and caring for dogs. She sent me updates while I was away, and I would have her watch my dog again without a doubt!
Maggie was an excellent sitter for my dog! She sent pictures and updates every day, and I knew my dog was in good hands! I am so glad I found someone as personable and kind as she is!

I love rescue dogs but also recognize the value and and worth of purebred dogs (I have both). I would prefer dog friendly clients and crate trained dogs.
A typical day
Any dog no matter their size will enjoy long walks through my neighborhood and the neighboring Frick park as well as access to my large 3/4 acre grass lot. They will be allowed to play with my personal dogs (if owner would like) or can easily have their own quiet area in my home. I love spending quality time with your dog and would happily play hours of fetch, cuddle on the couch, or learn new tricks.
