Registered Vet Tech!
Pet care experience
I offer overnights in your pet's home, drop-ins, and dog walking. I have been a Vet Tech for 4 years- I hold current Colorado credentials as a Registered Veterinary Technician and am Fear-Free certified. I have been offering pet-sitting for friends and family for many years. Depending on the needs of your pet and your preferences, I can stay overnight in your home or make scheduled drop-ins. I appreciate having clear directions for caring for your pet, as I aim to minimize the changes in your pet's routine while you are away. I am reliable, communicative, and have the skills and knowledge you can trust for taking good care of your pet(s). Because I am a vet tech, I can reliably and accurately administer medications of any kind. I am big on sending frequent photos to clients because I know how much that means to me when I'm away from my own pets! (If my profile currently says that less than 100% of clients received photos, that's because I ended up sending photos via direct text message rather than the Rover app!) Animals are my life's passion and I enjoy getting to know what makes your pet unique. I aim to make them feel like even though you are away, they are not without love. My partner and I have three dogs and two cats at home. This wouldn't be the case if we didn't love animals :) when I am taking care of your pet, my partner is able to take care of ours.
Reviews
Always great to have Maggie look after our cats when we are away!
Maggie is so great with Timber…she had not been over for a while but Timber howled with joy upon her arrival! I love how I can always count on her to make him feel comfortable and at ease. He is an anxious boy so it can be difficult at times. Thank you maggie!!
Maggie is extremely communicative and reliable! I am able to fully enjoy my travel/vacations knowing that my pet is in capable, caring hands! Highly recommend Maggie.
Maggie is very interactive with our cats and provide them with care and love while we're away! Maggie's has been our cat sitter for multiple times and has been fantastic each time! 100% recommend!

Information Maggie L. would like to know about your pet
-Your dog's daily routine- when they eat, sleep, walk, play on a typical day -What they eat and how much, dietary restrictions -Does your pet have a finicky stomach? Do they often eat grass, or vomit after eating? -Does your pet take any medications? (Do they get treats after they take their meds, do they need to eat before or after?) -Is your dog allowed on furniture? -Is your dog kennel trained? If so, how do you get them into their kennel and when would you like them to be there? -Do they have "triggers" which make them aggressive or fearful? -Is there anything that your dog doesn’t like or that makes them uncomfortable? (New people, thunderstorms, wind, any form of touch) -How does your dog react to new people? If someone wants to pet your adorable dog while we are out walking, will that be okay? -Does your dog pull while being walked? If so, are they allowed to? -If you have multiple pets, do they get along well or do they need to be separated? -What’s your dog’s favorite toy?
A typical day
I love to take long walks with your dog, play fetch, hide-and-go-seek, whatever they like best! Before I ever had dogs, it was just me and my two cats for 7 years. I love cats! I know that a good session with a mouse-toy or loving ear rubs can really decrease your cat's stress in your absence.

Availability
I am a Veterinary Technician at PetVet365 (a Fear-Free Certified practice!) in Westminster (88th and Sheridan). I work 8.5 hour shifts during the week (often I have Wednesdays off work) and I work some Saturday and Sunday shifts for 4.5 hours. (I am available to take care of your pet before and after work, and in cases of need and suitable proximity, during my lunch break. A great benefit for you is knowing that if your pet needs immediate veterinary care, I can be trusted to bring them to an ER facility or to bring them to my work with me, depending on the situation. On weekends that I accept pet-sitting jobs, my priority is taking care of your pet.
