Pet care experience
I see pets as family members and best friends, and take the job of caring for them seriously. I have cared for 2 of my own dogs, recently adopted a cat, and have pet sat for many friends and family. I have experience caring for dogs with kidney & heart disease, and am able to administer medicine and make sure any special needs are met. I usually connect with animals instantly and am able to read their body language well. My goal is to give your pet a fun, safe, and comfortable experience that makes them forget to be sad that you’re not there! (And to cheer myself up with their cuteness and silly antics) I am available most days of the week after 10am except Tuesdays.

Maggie loves to care for animals and has a natural connection with them. In fact, Maggie saved my dog Sophie’s life by recognizing that she was in respiratory distress and taking her to the hospital for emergency treatment. Thanks to Maggie Sophie survived the heart issue and is now doing fine with medicine. I highly recommend Maggie because taking care of animals is more than a just a job for her.
I've never met someone as passionate about dogs as Maggie. She always goes out of her way for her dogs and shows as much love and attention to detail as she possibly can. Whether it's caring for her own dogs or watching her neighbor's animals, Maggie always does an amazing job.
As long as I’ve known Maggie she’s been an animal lover. She’s cared for her family dog Sophie throughout her life, always making sure she’s properly fed, walked, and of course, loved. About 2 years ago, she adopted an abandoned golden lab named Buddy, in the face of his health issues and costly treatment. She consistently made sure to give him his daily medications, followed up with his doctor’s appointments, and provided a comfortable environment for his lifestyle changes. Her unwavering dedication and unconditional love for her animals shows just how amazing she would be contributing to Rover and helping a potential family with their furry friend!

I know the importance of safety as I’ve had multiple dogs who wanted to run off and eat everything in sight. I’m careful when opening doors, make sure to always have pets leashed/harnessed outside, and watch them carefully to ensure they’re not eating anything foreign on walks or getting into things inside the house.

A typical day
When I’m at my family’s house I love to play fetch with my dog, as well as go on hikes and explore new places. I always find myself playing silly games with her as well, like hide and seek with her toys. And of course, belly rubs and pets are a constant.

I am currently a part time graduate student, so I still have a lot of time to spend with your pets! I care for my cat each day but she’s perfectly fine home alone for up to 4-6 hours
