Pet care experience
Hello and welcome! I am, first and foremost, an animal lover by nature. I grew up in the area, on a small hobby farm, and have been surrounded by animals my entire life. In adulthood, I have owned many of my own pets (mostly dogs), and have experience caring for elderly dogs. Currently, I have two young medium-sized dogs of my own (Winnie, 3, and Rosie, 1), a young cat (Olive, 5 mos), three sheep, and a revolving door of foster puppies. I have long been the go-to person for pet care for many of my friends and family members. My cup runneth over with pets, and I always have endless amounts of love to shower onto your pets as well.

Maggie responded quickly, sent pictures and videos throughout my dogs stay with her. Nash seemed to be happy and comfortable in her home. I will use Maggie again.
Let me start by saying my dog, Dottie, can be rather difficult. She really only tolerates me and isn’t friendly to others, at first. Maggie took extremely good care of Dottie and made her feel right at home. Almost immediately I was getting pictures of her snuggled on the couch, which was a total shock because I’ve only ever known her to wait by the door for me to return. Maggie is so kind, communicative, and responsible. 12/10, would highly recommend!

Pets that stay in my home will be welcomed and treated like part of the family, along with my own pets. They will get frequent bathroom breaks, and can hang out in my home office with me, or snooze on the couch during the day. Whatever they prefer. Since I work during the day, I will not be able to leave and take them for walks, but they will be able to play and interact with my dogs. Boarding clients will get a walk in the evening or early morning, depending on needs.

A typical day
If I am watching your dog over the weekend (or during the summer when we have more daylight) I can take them for nice long walks along the Vilas County trails systems, along with my own dogs.
