Renew your adventure passpawt!
Pet care experience
My experiences with the Woodland Park Zoo, the Alaska SPCA Adoption Center, and casual dog sitting for friends and family over the years have all contributed to the culmination of didactic knowledge required to successfully care for our favorite critters, however I feel it must be said that only so much can be learned didactically... It is imperative, I think, to remember that our fur babies can teach us the most when we run, explore, and live alongside them. It is for that reason that I take the most pleasure in allowing your dog the opportunity to do just that. So let's go out and get a little dirty! Let's learn new smells. Let's find places we can dig appropriately. Let's splash in the water. Let's remember what it is to be wild & free together! That sense of freedom and the call of the wild is, after all, one thing that our hearts and souls always seem to share in some way or another. So renew those passpawts, because I've got nothing but time and the itch to put my feet in the dirt! I look forward to engaging with your furry family members in the ways they love best. Let's have an adventure.
Reviews
My two dogs, Oliver, a 2 year old Schnauzer mix, and Lucky, an 8 month old long hair Dachshund, enjoy a little cuddling and a lot of play; in and out of the house. They are family members, and with that, I wouldn’t trust just anyone to care for them when I’m away. In the 8 months I’ve known Maggie G., I’ve seen her interact with Oliver and Lucky on several occasions. They took an immediate liking to her and her kind nature. It is obvious that she would be a caring and attentive sitter for any pet. I would definitely trust her to watch Lucky and Oliver when I’m away on my next vacation.

Information Maggie G. would like to know about your pet
My goal is to provide an ENTIRELY positive experience for your fur baby. If you know your dog has a tendency to exhibit behaviors specific to environmental stimulus, let's be sure to avoid objects and situations which may trigger aggression, anxiety, fear, remorse, elopement, or any other less than ideal responses. Examples of stimuli include: -other dogs, cats, tiny humans, or any other critters we may encounter -male/female preferences -food/toy sharing -loud noises -fast movement -physical touch of any sort -car rides -collars/leashes -medication administration -verbal cues -etc. Let's also make sure that I know of any health problems your dog may have. I certainly wouldn't want to take your 12-year-old german shepherd with hip dysplasia on a 4 mile hike and spend the whole time wondering why she seemed unhappy about it.
A typical day
Hiking, swimming, and "extreme" fetch are always on the table for dogs with high energy, good manners, and an avid interest in adventuring! On the other hand, dogs who prefer less activity or who might be considered "shy" would never be denied a quick walk around the block or a decent romp in the back yard. Snuggling is a given for any dog with extra lovin' in their soul.
