There are no bad days with a dog!:)
Pet care experience
Hello! My name is Maggie, I am a 23 year old college student looking to help pet owners care for their dogs and cats as I complete my genetic counseling degree! I myself have a 3 year old service dog who is good around dogs and very cat-like. I have learned proper techniques in dealing with a multitude of situations and dogs. I am well versed in training techniques, walking, and socialization. I also live very close to a park and frequently walk dogs down the park path. I have cared for a variety of dogs from young, untrained puppies, to elderly dogs with many health issues. I am detail orientated and am able to properly follow medical directions. This variety of experience with different dogs has prepared me to be a well rounded animal caretaker.
Reviews
We had Maggie house sit over a few days for us and she did a fantastic job. She left the house clean and our dog was well loved and cared for. I highly recommend her, five stars!
Maggie took great care of our cat and even brought packages up and watered our plants unasked. We would absolutely have her take care of our cat again.
If we could give Maggie more stars we would! We cannot believe how lucky we were to find her!!! We have a 4 month old extremely high energy puppy. We were nervous to leave him for the first time, and shortly after we had our initial meet&greet with Maggie & Apollo our puppy had an unfortunate injury. She was extremely flexible and patient while we were monitoring his recovery, unsure if we would still be able to attend our family reunion. She went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, and met with us two additional times. When we decided at the last minute to ask her if she would come to our house to housesit instead of having our puppy by her, she was more than accommodating. We knew our pup was in great hands even before we left him with her, because she really went the extra mile to work with us. She took him to his vet appointment and administered his medications. She kept us updated with great videos and photos, took him on some really great adventures and hikes, and kept him active and entertained. She even washed his blankets and the bed sheets, which was a great surprise to come home to and was not expected at all. We will be reaching out to Maggie first for all of our future sitting needs, and our puppy adores her! - Christina & Alex
Maggie was fantastic with my boy Wedge! I needed some last-minute care because work called me in for some late days and Maggie not only took beautiful care of him but ALSO picked him up and dropped him off to me- which was immensely helpful. Wedgie was so excited to see her each morning too. Book her and you’re golden⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Safety, trust & environment
At this time I am serving client's at their home. For all services, I communicate with the owners on their preferences regarding activities/usual schedule for their pet. In the past I have used drop-in visits for a short walk, some play time, and lots of pets. For dog walking, I spend the 30-minutes walking around the client's neighborhood. I have a reliable dog-proofed car and can take your dog to a park or on small hike, I will add $10 to the final price if this is requested!
Information Maggie F. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know... - How do they walk on a leash? (wiggling out, pulling) - How comfortable are they with other dogs while on a leash? not on a leash? - Are they more dominant or submissive? Do they hump other dogs/people? - Do they mark their territory in new, inside places? - Are they rambunctious? (should I keep things off counters/watch out for the trash) - Do they bolt if the door opens? - What command do you use to get their attention? (wait, stay, sit, danger) - Are they resource aggressive? - Are you comfortable with me driving with the dog? (details will be given/discussed beforehand) - Do they have separation anxiety? (most dogs do! I have plenty of ways to mitigate this, do you have any techniques your dog responds to?)
A typical day
I lived near the Chicago river and would walk dogs up and down the park paths. I am a fairly new resident to Baltimore so once I get into a schedule, I will update this! I live less than a 15 minute drive from several parks. I am very passionate about taking care of dogs and will adjust my planned activities based on what they seemed interested in or any owner preferences/requests.
