Pet care experience
I have been pet sitting for over ten years and have raised two dogs of my own. I am an avid hiker and trail runner. I love to be outside and active so your dog will get plenty of exercise when it is with me! It will also get plenty of love and attention. My availabity varies, sometimes I work afternoons, sometimes nights, but usually never more than 5 hours at a time. Having a dog of my own, I understand what pet owners want when they are out of town and I can provide that. I will provide loving care and plenty of activity, and Am happy to customize the care based on the needs of the dog and the desires of the owners.

Briella stayed with Maggie for 6 nights, and when I picked her up today, she seemed quite happy, and well-exercised.......that is a priority for me, as she is a high-drive, energetic dog, who needs lots of good hikes and walks, as well as play-time with sticks and frisbees. Maggie had all her toys, containers (Briella is on a raw food diet, and I make and store her food in Tupperware-type containers), bed and leash ready to go. I would highly recommend Maggie for all dogs, especially large-breed, and those needing lots of exercise.
Maggie was a wonderful dog walker/carer while we were away. She sent regular updates and photos, and it was clear our dog was having a blast with Maggie. She was responsible and responsive, we would highly recommend her!
What a relief to find Maggie. I could never leave my dog in a kennel so I was thrilled to find Maggie just minutes from my house. I have a herding dog who needs exercise every day. Maggie took him for a run every morning and he played with her sweet girl, Rue. Maggie is level headed and responsible and let us come get our boy at 9:00pm after our plane landed. You won't find that in a kennel. Thank you, Maggie

I love to go on walks and hikes. Happy to take them to any nearby trails. If your dog has extra energy I am happy to take them on a run as I run everyday anyway. I can take them to the dog park to play if that is something you are interested in. They will get plenty of exercise when they are with me!
