Pet care experience
Hi!! I’m Maggie! I would love the chance to meet and care for your beloved pets! Whether that’s a one night stay, multiple night stays, or just pets and walks throughout the day, I’m your girl! I have a lab of my own, Driver, and he is super dog friendly (unbothered by cats) and he loves making new friends. I am 100% ready to offer excellent pet care and will treat any animal with the same love and respect as I treat my own pet because that’s what they deserve :) I have been caring for dogs my whole life, small, medium, and large- all breeds (even a blind dog) I had a cat growing up and am capable of caring for a cat as well but would say I am most versed with dogs. Just a big animal lover over all :)

I have space in my apartment and can hold a crate if needed! I crate my own dog at night just because he is still training. My dog is SUPER friendly with other animals and loves to make friends. I can really adapt to any and all preferences you might have with how your pet is cared for. While I don’t have a yard I am able to take them out VERY frequently to a grass patch and I have a dog safe balcony where they are free to sit and play out there (I allow my own dog to do this but I do monitor him, I can see the whole balcony from my desk window)

I like to know normal routine for the dog, where they like to go, how they like to play, if they are friendly and would want to play with my dog, and if they have any special needs!
A typical day
Making sure the pet is comfortable is my number 1 priority so I will ask where they like to be walked or taken if you go to a park or something. I am used to my high energy lab so we will play with toys, go on walks, I play training games as well! For senior dogs I cater to their needs as well. If they like slower walks we can do those if they just want pets and scratches I am good with that too! I have cared for an elderly blind dog so I am capable of offering love and care to a senior dog who needs someone there.

Currently working from home except on Tuesdays and some Thursdays! Most of the time I am just once a week. Drop ins are great for me too as I am allotted a lot of breaks!
