I always loved being around the neighborhood pets since we weren’t able to get one ourselves (mom’s allergic). There were days I invited our chihuahua neighbor, Simon, over for play dates and other days I would offer to walk Jazzy, who lived across the street, just to get to spend some time with her. It was so exciting when my brother got a dog and even more exciting when I took her in for the months he was deployed. At first, it was overwhelming. I’m sure many can relate to that. But eventually I got used to the change in schedule and responsibility and became so grateful for the experience. I took her to the dog park and on hikes and she got me out and about. Since then, I’ve dog and cat sat several times for neighbors and friends and have been loving every minute of it! I am very active. Walking, hiking and running are some of my favorite activities and am always down for the company of a dog. I also have experience caring for elderly dogs/cats with specific medication requirements. I take all these needs extremely seriously. I can’t wait to meet your little fur babies!
