Understanding a dog's temperament and background beforehand is important. ~ Do y’all need snuggles? Fabulous! Can’t wait! Feedings? Done ~ Potty breaks and/or clean up? No problem. Litter boxes? I can check/clean them. ~ Do you need your babies in crates? Can do. What words do you use to get them in? ~ Do you have a Houdini? We have an escape artist, so I am always very careful about entering and exiting so nobody slips past, because I know how sneaky a dedicated escapist can be with door rushing, digging, jumping fences, etc. ~ Meds are needed? Trust me, I won't be frighten away. - Let me know if you use any specific words or commands so I can communicate without confusing them and remind them to behave the way they would if you were here. - Detailed feeding instructions are also great, especially if your babies have a strict diet. Please include what times to feed them, portion sizes, vitamins/supplements/medications they take and how. - Can they have treats? Do they have any allergies, dietary restrictions, or food sensitivities? - How well do they walk on a leash, if we’re going on walks? - Do your babies have any special needs, triggers, fears, anxiety, or preferences I should know about? Are they scared of thunderstorms or fireworks, treat or food guarding/stealing, etc.
