Growing up my whole life with animals, I knew I wanted to work with them when I was an adult and Rover offers me the perfect chance to do that - I love getting the opportunity to meet so many different dogs and learning their personalities! While I'm still trying to convince my boyfriend, who currently lives with me, to get a dog of our own I love getting the opportunity to be able to put our large fenced yard to use and get that morning walk in with your pups. So far I've convinced him to get 2 cats ourselves - Simon and Maya - who love when friends get to visit! We live in a house located in the small community of Clawson where the police and fire department are right down the road in walking distance to us. With experience in a professional boarding facility and as a volunteer for the Michigan Humane Society fostering program, I have cared for dogs that are large, small, hyper, special needs, elder, and puppies - I’ve seen and taken care of it all so nothing scares me. I have training experience with basic commands and walking on a leash and/or alongside a bicycle. I'm also able to administer medications as well as offer healing Reiki as a certified healer through the Henry Ford Medical Center. Reiki is an energy-based healing method with a light touch to support in the relief of physical and emotional ailments like joint pain, anxiety, and overall energy realignment. This healing method is not meant to replace any medical advice from your veterinarian but only be added to in support. Please consult with your veterinarian regarding any changes you'd like to make to the treatment of your pet. My Reiki healing services can be added to your stay for $20 per 30-minute treatment if requested. If you are interested in booking please let me know what times you will be dropping off/picking up. If the times below don’t work for your schedule, let me know and I can check my availability to schedule another time. Hours for pick up/drop off (by appointment) Monday-Friday: 5am-8am, 4pm-8pm Saturday/Sunday: 5am-8pm My work is nearby and allows me the flexibility to come home at various points of the day and take a long lunch so the dogs are never alone for more than 2-4hrs at a time.
