I had a corgi named Evan and a dachshund named Sydney growing up. I have also dog sat for several years through high school both in my house and in other people's homes. I've administered medication to dogs that need it, pet sat elderly dogs, know how to clean up pet related messes well, and I am very responsible when it comes to caring for animals in general (I can't bear the thought of any sort of neglect since they can't care for themselves!) I think I would make a great sitter because I can care for your dog like it was my own. Unfortunately I cannot have a dog in my apartment, so I'm very excited to spend some quality time hanging out with your dog!
