I've owned dogs, raised a boxer puppy, taken care of my friend's dogs for years! I am very intuitive when it comes to animals, and understand their emotional needs when they're in a new environment and experiencing new things. I love lots of playtime, and I can be firm when necessary. Seeing a pup happy is a true joy for me. I'm available in the evenings on the weekdays, and I only work 6 miles away so I can come home during my lunch hour. Weekends are completely free and I am quite active, enjoying the outdoors any chance I get. I like to hike, walk Balboa Park, go to Grape Street dog park, run along the beach, picnic on the grass... your pup will do everything with me!

I feel so lucky to have found dear Magda. She is such a jewel to find in such a big world of crazy people! You instantly get the sense that you can trust her upon meeting. She asked me just the perfect questions and made me feel comfortable as I’ve never used a dog sitter before. I have a handful of a Weimaraner and she took the job with grace. She handles my dog perfectly and didn’t so much as flinch at seeing her crazy Weimaraner behavior! My dog loves her, and I knew she would. It’s a huge relief to find someone to watch your beloved pooch while you have to be away, that you know will give them loving care. Ten out of ten for Magda with a bonus star!

I don't have any breed preferences, but I need to know what their personality is so I can protect them when they come around other dogs.
A typical day
I live near Adams Avenue in Normal Heights, where lots of walks will take place. The neighborhood is quiet and very friendly. I hike easy and medium trails and like to reward myself afterwards with a few hours at the beach. At home, I like to cook, read, watch TV, and garden on my patio area.
