I recently left my job of 18 months at a dog boarding/ daycare facility called Woofability. Reasons being I am going back to school in the fall . There I learned everything I needed to know about dogs, I hiked with them on a daily basis and also did the occasional grooming. By the time I left, The main focus of the job was to enrich and do basic training/ conditioning with the dogs in daycare. At the beginning of my employment, I completed my Pet First Aid certificate, which has helped me to assess any dog’s physical and sometimes emotional well being. At work I had been able to spot UTI’s, ticks, dehydration, bloating, ear infections and more. Some of these can be life threatening if not treated right away. I know that with my experience and gained knowledge, I can keep your dog safe and happy!
