Pet care experience
I have taken care of and owned dogs my whole life. Our beloved Puggle Watson passed this last May and my heart broke. We have decided to hold off on bring a new fur baby permanently into our home. But don’t worry I will treat your pet like one of my own! 😊 Dogs are little gifts of joy and deserve a great life! I would love to be a small part of yours. I was one of the many in the events industry that was affected due to COVID-19. I started watching some of my neighbors and friends pets as something to do to past the time and discover what an awesome time myself and the puppers were having! Why not do it all the time! I do not currently work so I’m open any time of the day or week. I live in the vibrant Old Market district. One thing this does mean is no personal yard. But no need to fear cause the dog parks are near! I live close to both Dewey dog park in midtown (my favorite) or the more private Hamscom Dog park. Not only that but I know all the places downtown town that are dog friendly. I’m also very close to grassy patches and the Conagra park. So if your dog loves walks and treats at the coffee shop he or she will love staying at my house.

Maggie is the best! She is a true animal lover and the bond between her and my golden retriever pup, Nala, was instant! She has taken such good care of Nala on a few different occasions, including keeping Nala for a one week dog-cation while I was out of town. Maggie was so thoughtful to keep me updated on their adventures with some texts and pictures. She even gave Nala a bath before I picked her up!🥰 If you want to make sure your pup will be walked, played with, socialized, and kept up with their training - Maggie is your person!

I live in the vibrant Old Market Lofts if a beautiful 1 bedroom apartment with my husband Chris and our cat Oz. Oz rules the house and loves his mom and dad.... and is ok with everyone else. (They are beneath him.) There are lots of places to walk and explore in my neighborhood. The busy streets of the Old Market, the sweet neighborhood near by or the quite parks and grassy areas near the river front. We have it all... I also love Dewey Dog park in the Midtown area, they have sections for both big dogs and small. I have even meet all the regulars and am allowed to be the person with out a dog to be a regular at the dog park lol. But if you choose me to watch your doggo you can be sure that they will have all the attention and love that they desire... and probably more.

A typical day
Conagra park is my favorite place for walks. Lots of grassy spots for all the business that needs to be done. The old market can be a great place to help socialize your pet with lots of activity and people. Or if we need something more relaxing I also love walking in the little bohemian and little Italy neighborhoods , and love going past the beautiful houses. Finally if your doggo does a great job and needs a little reward we might pop into one of the many pet friendly establishments in the Old Market area for TREATS!! (if allowed that is :)

Availability
Like many people I to had my employment affected due to COVID-19. My life currently consists of hanging out at home and keeping the place clean, video games and all the Netflix there is. I love going for walks in the Old Market area just to get out of the house and with my husbands job we currently cannot travel. In other words I'm home all the time and would love to have your doggo hang out with me.
