Pet care experience
Hello hello, Let me introduce us: Magalie, 32yo , and my partner Julien, 30yo. We have been living in Montréal, in Cote St Luc since the end of 2023. I am the proud dogmom of a Staffy girl, and a catmom through my boyfriends, as he already had a cat when we met. Seeing the girls cohabit for these past 2 years have taught me a great deal. These past few years, I have been reading and listening about positive education, dog behavior and canine enrichments to learn more and offer more to all the pets placed in my care. Whereas it is just for a walk during your office hours, or staying at your place during your week-ends getaways, you can be sure that your dog will be well taken care of and loved. Between hugs and walks, playtime and naps, your dog will not have time to miss you - or at least, no too much. Should there be anything specific, we will enforce the rules you wish us to.

Nous avons fait appel à Magalie plusieurs fois pour garder Randie, notre statffie, qui en plus avait une fracture et était en convalescence. Nous avons eu toute de suite confiance en magalie. Elle s'est super bien occupée de notre chienne, l'a bichonnée et c'est adaptée à elle pour les ballades et son repos. Magalie est une personne très sympathique, attentionnée et très d'enthousiaste. Cela a été une très belle rencontre pour nous. Nous la recommandons vivement.
I’ve known Magalie for years and she has dogsitted both my late Chihuahua and my Shiba. She’s a true animal lover, doing her best to keep them safe and happy. Her knowledge of dog’s communication codes is a very appreciated bonus. I would recommend her to any pawrents :)
Magalie est une personne responsable et en qui j’ai eu toute confiance de confier ma chienne alors âgé de six mois. Elle m’a beaucoup aidé à l’éduquer et elle a à cœur de faire passer le bien-être de l’animal avant tout autre chose.

I live in a 1 bedroom apartment with my partner, his cat and my dog. We have a barrier set-up at the bathroom door to protect the cat litter. We are gentle, but firm when needed, always keeping an eye out in the streets to avoid unwanted meetings with other dogs, and we both got our master's degree in 'keeping my dog from eating everything on the floor'. At home, my dog is allowed on the sofa but not the bed; you give us your rules, we will adjust. I am also trying to educate myself on both cats and dogs' behavior and positive education/reinforcement through books, specialists on social medias and podcasts.

A typical day
I love to play fetch indoor or outdoor, I don't mind going out in any weather if the dog is willing to - mine hates the rain, maybe yours loves it! At home I have lickimats, snuffles pads and a lot of bully sticks, but you let me know what you want your dog to be entertained with! And of course, many hugs - if your dog likes contact of course!

Availability
I work 5 minutes away from home, I will not be gone for more than 7 hours. I have some mornings or afternoons free but not every day, and it changes from a week to another. My boyfriend is currently at home.
