Over 8 years experience working with all types of animals, pet, farm, and house -sitting. I have experience caring for many animals including dogs, cats, horses, goats, rabbits, and poultry. I am experienced and gentle handling and caring for these animals. I have cared for a number of older-adult dogs, including those with special needs, as well as puppies. I have experience with dogs of all breeds and especially love caring for high-energy dogs and puppies to make sure they receivethe daily exercise they need! I know work, vacation, and other plans can cause varying schedules that take us away from our pets. I strive to offer the best, most personalized care I can since I know how important a familiar schedule is to our pets’ comfort and well-being. I am a lifelong equestrian, having studied Equine Management. This experience provides me with an increased ability to provide care, including emergency care if needed, for your pets. I have worked for 4 years as an overnight pet and house -sitter as well as completed drop-in services to feed, let out, exercise, and love on the animals. I have reliable transportation and flexibility during the day to care for your pets as often as they require and deserve.

Maeve was great, answering my last minute request right away, and helping me out while we were staying at a motel in town! I felt comfortable leaving them to her after I met her while I was out for the day, so I didn’t have to worry about them! Thank you so much!!
Maeve was excellent during her stay at our home! She was very responsive to messages and kept us updated all weekend with lots of pictures! Our puppies were very tired after a fun weekend with her! We will defiantly be looking to book her for future stays!

I know every animal has their likes and preferences as well as a routine they are used to and I want to do my best to cater to these preferences and routine. Before I care for any dog I would like to know all the ways I can meet the individual desires of the dog and owner, including specific ways they are used to everyday tasks such as feeding and walking to be done. I also place a huge emphasis on safety above all else. I would like to know if the dog has any allergies or other health concerns I should be mindful of. Also, does the dog have any aggression. What is this aggression towards and what are the triggers? What precautions should I take when handling the dog?
A typical day
Whether staying home in the backyard or taking a longer walk, i aim to provide each dog with the personalized care tgey would receive from yoy. I can walk your dog anywhere the owner would like. Whether around their neighborhood or on a field-trip to a park, I want to make sure the dog has an enjoyable time while getting appropriate exercise for physical and mental health.

I'm currently a graduate student with a flexible schedule, so I have plenty of space and flexibility in my week to accommodate the individual needs of your pet. I currently have full weekend availability Fri, Sat, Sun and am available in mornings and evenings with some mid-day flexibility Mon-Thur.
