As a young and active couple, we are excited to get to know your furry friends and make them feel at home. We have taken care of dogs, cats, and homes for family, friends, and neighbors for over 15 years. As a trustworthy and mature pair, we look forward to taking care of your pets and home in the best way possible. We have experience taking care of dogs that are big, small, young, old, energetic or lazy and everywhere in between. We said goodbye to our 20 year old kitty about a year ago, we are familiar with older pets and their needs. While you are away from your pets, they will will feel safe, happy, and cared for with lots of love and kindness. We have experience administering medication for dogs and cats and doing regular household maintenance of watering plants, alarm systems etc. We only host one dog at a time so pups who stay with us don't tussle with one another, but we are happy to host two pets from the same household who already know each other - just message us and we can work it out.

Maeve and Pablo were so amazing with my dog Buster. He is a 13 yo Maltese/yorkie mix that has a handful of health problems and they were able to navigate everything so well. They sent a ton of photos and updates over the weekend. Buster had such a lovely time and I hope that he has the chance to stay with them again!
Maeve was a fantastic dog sitter and our dog enjoyed her time very much. We received timely updates throughout the stay as well as many photos. This made us very comfortable and at ease. We will certainly use Maeve again!

I CANNOT say enough good things about Maeve!! :) She came to our rescue after many other pet-sitting options fell through, responding to my initial message promptly and graciously accommodating a last-minute request. She (and her husband) did such a great job watching Kipper, sending frequent updates and pictures. She was so warm, thoughtful and personable and I knew Kipper was having a great time. Our apartment is most comfortable for smaller dogs, and we are able to get outside and let the pups enjoy the fresh air throughout the day. For larger dogs and house-loving cats, we are happy to stay at a client's home to give your pet the most comfortable stay. At your home, we make sure the pet is safe and comfy while also respecting your home, privacy and belongings. After several years of housesitting, we are comfortable and well-versed caring for your home as a guest while you enjoy a stress-free vacation away..

We love to know a bit about your dog's personality, likes, and dislikes before taking care of the dog. We love to know what your dog loves - treats, cuddles, ear scratches etc. - we want to make your dog happy and comfy. We would also like to know about any allergies or specific food needs.
A typical day
We live right next to a big Denver park, so we will usually take your pup out for a short walk or potty-break in the morning, mid-day, and evening (depending on their likes and needs). Throughout the day we will hang out with your pup and play, cuddle, or just share space with them if they are more independent.

Availability
Maeve is currently in graduate school, so our schedule is very flexible and we can accommodate the needs of almost all pets, but we may not be home for the entire day during the week (usually gone for about 4 hours at a time).
