I have been dog sitting for about 7 years now. I took care of my neighbors dogs when they were on vacation, and they really enjoyed me having them take care of both of their dogs. I love taking care of any pets; they bring me so much joy and I love giving dogs and cats attention.

Our pup is a rescue and very timid around strangers. She warmed up to Maeliss fairly quickly, which is very unusual. Maeliss was our 3rd try at finding a pet sitter that our dog Bebe would even let near her. I always go with my instincts and Bebe’s reaction to someone she doesn’t know. Maeliss was the obvious choice. I would recommend her to care for anyone’s pet. Her calm demeanor put Bebe at ease and I felt comfortable leaving her in Maeliss’ care.
Maëliss is a hard worker and loves animals! She will work hard to make sure your pet receives the best care. She is responsible and loves taking photos of animals, so you’ll definitely be in the loop with your pet’s care (if you want her to text you updates).

I also make sure that when I'm at home, they get a daily walk-in and that they have time to go outside and play with each other. As well, I make sure they are fed on time.

A typical day
I will make sure they are fed and taken outside, If it's nice outside, then I am going to go to the park or walk around the block with the dog, and after I'm going to give the dog water and let him or her rest. Then, if we have enough time, I'll play with them in the backyard or play with them in the house.

I'm currently having to work part time; I attend Wichita State University, and my classes go pretty late this semester, but I love animals and have been interested in taking care of them, and I have open availability on the weekends as well.
