Maeghan McDonald has grown up with dogs as pets in her home. In her Jr. year of college she moved off campus into a house with other students. At that time she decided to get a dog of her own. Before she did so, she sat down with her roommates and discussed it with them first, outlining the responsibility that she would take on, and assuring them that there would be no requirement on their part. She extensively researched different breeds, to find the one that best suited her personality, and lifestyle. She ended up with a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel that she named Reese. Reese was enthusiastically welcomed into her life, and has been priority one from that point forward. Reese is well cared for and very much loved. She attends regular visits with her veterinarian to ensure she is current with all vaccinations, and maintains good health. Reese has been attending obedience classes from the onset, and has recently completed the Leashes of Love program so that she can also be a joy to others as a therapy dog. Maeghan is a very conscientious person who would have the best interest of every pet in mind. She is a very helpful, caring person who would enjoy helping out others and their pets, by giving them a walk when their owner is busy.
