Pet care experience
Growing up with dogs, I have always had a special bond with them and have a deep understanding of their needs. As a family, we have rescued four dogs, so I am well-versed in caring for dogs of multiple breeds ( Staffys, greyhounds & frenchies) and dogs who may be a little nervous or anxious. The main reason I joined rover was not for the money it was because I genuinely miss having dogs in my life! Although the money is a bonus I am genuinely wanting to spend time with your pets, whilst they’re with me they will be treated like my own with love, care and compassion (and lots of cuddles if that’s what they like!) Mae was a life saver when my original sitter had to cancel last minute before my trip. Came round to make sure the dogs were comfortable with her and was lovely. Kept me updated with the dogs the whole week I was away and just got home to a spotless house! Not to mention 2 excited pups. Would definitely recommend Mae’s services.

Mae was amazing from start to finish, We had never left our dog before for longer than a day and this was the first time we were travelling for a few weeks, I was so nervous as he is very special to us, i would not let just anyone take care of him, Mae made the effort to make us feel comfortable and confident that she could take care of him and his needs, he had the best time and I would use her again 100% (he missed her when we came back)
Mae was fantastic with our reactive rescue dog and nervous cats, nothing was too much trouble. She was patient and kept us informed about them with lovely pictures whilst we were away, and we came back to a lovely tidy house. Highly recommended.

I understand that every dog/cat is different. Please let me know in advance if your pet has any special care needs or quirks that you feel are important for me to know in order to provide the best care. ( their little quirks are usually the best thing about them!) Getting to know the pet is important to me no matter how long I will be looking after them.

I enjoy stimulating your dogs mind whether that be inside the house with their favourite games/ toys or outside exploring the local parks and beaches.

I am currently a student so have lots of free time. My timetable changes week to week so I make sure to keep my rover calendar up to date. I’m pretty flexible so please feel free to enquire!
