Pet care experience
I have taken care of a wide variety of pets since I was 12 years old. I have always had a passion for animals and am going into the biology field to further my knowledge of and experience with animals. I have cared for birds, rabbits, iguanas, fish, and several cats and dogs. Neighbors, friends and family members have relied on me to walk, feed, bathe, and play with their pets for many years. I am learning proper animal training care at the moment.

Mae is an awesome dog sitter because she is an animal lover! She provides love and attention to any animal in her care. She has a way of connecting with animals and knowing what they need. She has been very conscious and responsible for any of our pets she has taken care of. You would be hard pressed to find a better sitter and friend for your dog!

I am able to crate pets if needed, and I am able to accompany pets outside, on walks, or in any provided yard or secured area of the client's home. I can't take pets to my home because I have two cats. I use positive reinforcement-such as treats, pets or play-and redirection for negative behaviors depending on what the animals responds best to. I don't have pictures of the dogs that I have taken care of unfortunately, but I do have a lot of experience with dogs both large and small.

All I ask is that you give me any and all information about your dog’s personality and behaviors so that ensure that I am giving your dog the best care possible while also keeping myself and the dog safe.
A typical day
I love to give dogs the proper outlets for their individual energies and personalities both physically and mentally. Depending on the dog, we’ll play a bunch of games, walk around the new environment of my neighborhood, go to dog parks, explore the big park by my house, or even just chill on the floor or couch; some dogs just need some company.

Availability
I am a full-time college student so I am unable to commit to frequent pet visits, but I am able to dedicate time for long walks and play twice a day on weekdays and overnight care on weekends.
