I’m currently going to school to be a veterinarian technician and I am employed at a veterinary hospital where I am a veterinary assistant. At my job, I assist the veterinarians during appointments, administer vaccinations, am able to identify medications, and take care of all the fur babies to the highest expectations! I also am able to give baths and nail trims! I love looking after dogs and/or cats because animals are my passion! This will also help me to pay off student debt and help me with expanding my education to better learn more about all animals! I am very caring and patient with animals, so any type of dog will be no worries for me. I have also grown up with dogs and cats my whole life, and I currently have two cats myself! At one point I had 5 dogs all in one house! The one thing I love about dogs is they are the most pure and loving animals there are. I am flexible during afternoons and am free on the weekends. My job requires me to work till about 7 in the afternoon, but I am able to accommodate both my work schedule and Rover! I ensure the pets safety as my first priority. I make sure they are happy and healthy during the stays/visits. I make sure to go over special care needs with owners before the stay such as special procedures for taking them outside, for walks, or any other activities.
