We have owned animals all my life. I grew up showing dogs in 4-H; I did that for 12 years. I also house sat and babysat family members, neighbors, and community peoples dogs here and there until I was able to start working. I worked at a vet clinic for almost 4 years before coming to college, so I do have professional experience taking care of animals as well. At the clinic I cared for many dogs that included feeding, walking, and some treatments for them.
