Information Madison W. would like to know about your pet

Before watching a dog, it's important to gather certain information to ensure a smooth and safe experience: 1. **Medical History:** Know about any allergies, medications, or medical conditions the dog may have. 2. **Diet and Feeding:** Ask about the dog's regular diet, feeding schedule, and any dietary restrictions. 3. **Behavioral Traits:** Learn about the dog's temperament, likes, dislikes, fears, and any behavioral quirks. 4. **Exercise Needs:** Understand how much exercise the dog requires and any preferred activities. 5. **Emergency Contacts:** Have contact information for the dog's owner and their veterinarian in case of emergencies. 6. **Routine and Schedule:** Be aware of the dog's daily routine, including potty breaks, walks, playtime, and sleep schedule. 7. **Commands and Training:** Know the commands the dog understands and any training routines they follow. 8. **Healthcare Information:** Ensure you have access to the dog's vaccination records and health history. 9. **House Rules:** Ask about any house rules, such as furniture they're allowed on, where they sleep, etc. 10. **Emergency Plan:** Familiarize yourself with emergency procedures, such as what to do in case the dog gets lost or injured. By gathering this information beforehand, I’ll be better prepared to provide the best care for the dog and make their time with you enjoyable and safe.
