Pet care experience
I have been watching pets for the past 5 years. While I primarily focused with dogs, I have been blessed with a few feline friends in my path. My most worked with breeds are doodles, retrievers, labs, and rescues. I have trained my own puppy and know the life of small dogs and would love to help provide help in that area during their stay with me. I have worked with diabetic dogs as well, ensuring they get insulin shots daily. I am open to curating the perfect stay for your pet including meal times, preferred treats, toy preferences, water safety, social skills, and sleeping preferences (snuggles are always appreciated).

I live in an apartment complex in a very dog-friendly neighborhood. My day starts off with morning walks to beat the heat, followed by scheduled breakfast and toy time for the pups. I attend class for 2 hours in the early afternoon, and end classes with a trip to the pool to let the pups cool off. Walks are twice a day (morning & night), and bathroom breaks are customized to each pet’s needs. For boarding, I currently work on crate training, while my own dog sleeps in my bed, but sleeping arrangements are open to discuss. Pets are allowed on my furniture. Currently I have both raised dog beds and traditional cushion beds to maximize comfort. Toys are provided (& my pup LOVES to play with others).

Let me know if your dog has any particular behaviors I should look out for! I am also open to meeting up beforehand to get vet info, emergency contacts, food type, treat and toy preferences, allergies (if any), and to gauge social skills with my dog before their stay with us. I find it important to gauge the level of comfort between the dog and myself, which is why I offer same day adjustments to your booked services.
A typical day
I love to engage in outdoor activities with my dogs as well as others! A typical day with me would include walks in the morning around Baylor’s campus, and fetch in the field. During the afternoon, weather permitting, we love to take trips to the pool and cool down in the shade. One special place we love is the courtyard in my building that has a fenced in area for the dogs to run off leash and play. To end the day we would take one last walk and have a nice walk around my building to get some last minute zoomies out! Potty breaks would be incorporated into the above schedule.

Availability
I am currently a college student with more than enough time and love to share with other furry friends and their families! I currently have a mini goldendoodle and our routine is easily adaptable to others. Walks in the morning are a must to beat the heat, and pool trips happen a couple times a week for some summer fun. There are many large pet friendly fields in my area that we go to quite frequently to play fetch or to let the pups just roll in the grass.
