Pet care experience
I have had both cats and dogs my entire life. My family currently has two senior dogs, a yorkie-poo and chihuahua terrier, that I regularly take trips home to see. Throughout high school I volunteered at an animal rescue and worked at a pet groomer. Since graduating college I have been taking care of family and friends dogs and cats. I regularly sit senior pets and am experienced with pets that require medications or pets with special needs. I also started sitting for neighbors here in Williamsburg this past summer. I have no pets of my own right now but my roommate does have a golden retriever- lab mix named Midas that I also watch when she is out of town.

Great walk and our puppy looks so happy!
Madison was fantastic. Our girl Red was so calm when we arrived home after 6 days. Which means she was given load attention! Our neighbors even texted and commented when returned home that Madison was seen walking and playing with Red outside so much, that they were surprised! For the cherry on top our house was perfectly straight when we arrived home. ❤️

I live in a condominium that is pet friendly. There is a dog park and sidewalks throughout the neighborhood for walking dogs with pet cleanup stations throughout. If staying at your home, I would be able to take them on walks or regularly let them outside based on your preference.

A typical day
I’d love to take your dog to my neighborhood dog park and walk them throughout my neighborhood! There’s also a trail that I take my roommate’s dog on in the neighborhood. I love watching dogs that are playful and enjoy fetch or tug of war!

Availability
At the end of July I will be relocating to West Virginia to begin medical school. I plan to continue working as a Rover full-time until I start school this summer.
