JUST CALL ME MARY PUP-PINS! 🐾

Pet care experience

My name is Madison and I grew up with true animal lovers, as both my parents are. My mother had the greatest influence on me. She made her life’s work as a professional equestrian rider and teacher. I grew up at the stables with her. She taught me from a very young age all about all things flora and fauna. We always had horses, dogs, cats, birds, and even fish. I rescued nearly every one we ever kept. Sometimes I found them, other times, they found me. I have an extensive knowledge of what proper pet care requires, and see animals as furry ppl with needs and emotions just like ours. I do not support abuse EVER. Your pet is in the BEST hands here.

My partner and I met Madison through a mutual friend, when we had a family emergency come up and needed someone to help care for our Virginia Highlands home in Atlanta, but more importantly we needed a sitter for our two precious babies, Peanut and Tadpole. They are both Teacup Yorkshire Terrier/ Chihuahua hybrids, weighing less than 5 pounds each. Needless to say, they are small enough to require a sharp eye to keep an eye on them to ensure their safety and to give them the extra care they require. Madison was a God send, and a five star last minute hire. She made herself available on short notice, and did all she could to put our minds at ease prior to our departure. Our stress levels were really minimized once we started receiving email updates that always included videos or pictures of each day she was our hired caretaker, which is what truly put any concerns we had at first to bed, and allowed us to focus on the purpose of our trip. She went above and beyond caring for our house, our puppies, and my partner and I, too! Lol ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Five Stars for Madison S.

Safety, trust & environment

I believe that caring for pets is a full time job, very much akin to caring for human kids. They require three main elements of care that ensure their needs are met. 1. Acceptable shows of lots of love and compassionate treatment. 2. Respectful treatment. They are individual creatures with individual emotions and needs. They do not exist beneath us or as extensions of ourselves. 3. Clearly defined and understood boundaries and limitations. Setting rules and boundaries shows that an animal is cared for, protected, and loved. Both humans and animals recognize subconsciously that boundaries and safety rules exist for their own protection. Be at a child or a dog, when there are no rules or boundaries in place and they are allowed to just run wild and make decisions they are not capable of making on their own with safety in mind actually creates a feeling of fear in both species. That kind of environment tell them they are not look out for, not cared for, and that if their safety is of no concern to their parent(s) or main caregiver(s), then their lives are equally devalued by those who are supposed to value them the most.

Information Madison S. would like to know about your pet

I can work with all breeds. I have checked that I will not take on pets that have not been spayed or neutered. I can make certain exceptions, however, I choose that option for my profile to promote getting control over the stray and unwanted and truly overflowing pet population control problem. HAVE ALL YOUR PETS SPAYED AND NEUTERED. PLEASE DO NOT BE GREEDY OR IGNORANT ABOUT THIS ISSUE. GREEDY, MEANING YOU ARE AN ASPIRING BREEDER OR ALREADY ON YOUR WAY TO RUNNING A PUPPY MILL AND I WILL REPORT YOU. IF YOU WANT TO GET A SPECIFIC BREED OF PURE BRED DOG THERE ARE TON OF BREED SPECIFIC RESCUE LEAGUES OUT THERE. IGNORANT MEANS, HERE, THAT YOU BELIEVE NEUTERING A MALE DOG TAKES AWAY THEIR MANHOOD. IF THIS IS YOUR MINDSET THEN YOU ARE IGNORANT AND SHOULDN'T OWN A DOG EVER. PLEASE, DO YOUR RESEARCH ON THE MANY BENEFITS OF BOTH PROCEDURES PLEASE!!!

A typical day

I live in the heart of awesome downtown Winder, GA. This is an extremely friendly, walkable town, with lots of other super nice pets and pet parents I’ve met since my recent move here back in December. I live very close to the local high school, just five blocks away, which has great open spaces for running, playing, fetching, cloud watching (lol), and if requested by the owner, is a great place for training of all kinds. My training methods are 100% humane based methods. I have extensive experience and I get results without the use of pee pads, pinch collars, shock collars, and absolutely NO VIOLENCE IS TOLERATED. These fur babies are your fur kids and will always be treated with love.
