Pet care experience
Dogs & cats (and even a rabbit at one point) have been part of my life since the beginning. Dogs have always had my heart. I grew up with a lab, mutt, golden, and a border collie, and now have two pups with my husband: Chief, a 6 y/o German Shepherd, and Miso, a 2 y/o Great Pyrenees. I’ve raised and trained playful puppies, and I’ve taken care of senior dogs on their last lag. I understand that every dog breed (and dog themself) is different, with varying needs, behaviors, levels of activity, motivation, etc. Having had such a variety of breeds in the past has opened my eyes to all those differences, which I take into account with every new dog I walk and/or watch.

Madison was great! Our kitty is very shy and doesn’t some out of hiding for new people but Madison was so friendly and gentle that my cat came out all days she stopped by! This made me super comfortable while away and looking forward to using Madison again :)

Our backyard offers plenty of grass & a 6 ft. privacy fence. Our two fur babies, a GSD and Great Pyrenees, love to make new friends. The interior of our home is dog-friendly and air-conditioned for those hot days when it’s best to spend most of our time indoors. We can happily crate your pup in our collapsable crate or their own, should you choose to provide it, all in the comfort of their own guest room.

A typical day
When the dogs aren’t busy entertaining each other, I love to keep them stimulated with a walk, fetch or training session throughout the day. When they’re not playing or eating, they’re usually napping or getting some love and cuddles.

Availability
I was recently promoted to “stay-at-home dog mom” (aka layoffs in the tech industry), meaning I have all the time in the world to care for my pups & yours! On a normal week, I’m generally available all day on weekdays and part of the day on weekends. The exception would be only for travel, which I tend to do every few months or so.
