Hi! I'm Madison, and being a Rover sitter is my full time job! I am 100% dedicated to your pets and their needs! Working for myself has given me the freedom to stay connected with my family and friends as well as get involved with my community and give back. I live in a clean, comfortable, and smoke-free home with my husband and our dogs Jack and Grimm! Be sure to look at my reviews to see what others have said about me! Rain, wind, snow, or shine I will be out walking dogs no matter the weather! The only exception to this would be in the case of hazardous weather/ dangerous conditions as your pets safety is my number one priority. Why I love pet sitting and dog walking I have been an animal lover since childhood and I am always excited to be around them. I provide a warm and loving atmosphere that is full of consistency, patients and understanding. I am up for daily walks usually twice a day depending on the dogs' needs. I love to take photos of the dogs so families can view them on Rover and know that they are safe and happy. No matter if you're a cat person or dog person, you are definitely my kind of person! I have several regular cat clients that I care for. They received tons of love, active play, and treats! My experience administering medication I am comfortable administering oral medications, but I am not trained to give them injections. While I am comfortable administering oral medications I do charge an extra fee for pets that need medication. I also have several years of equine experience and would be happy to feed/water/watch/groom horses. I am a full time Rover sitter! This allows me an open and flexible schedule as I manage my business. Plenty of time to take care of your pets and their needs! Policies: Every animal that will be under my care must have a separate pet profile. In order to keep your pet safe and set up proper expectations I want to meet with my clients and their pet(s) in their home before beginning my assignment. This will allow me to develop a rapport with both the pet and their owner. I recognize that leaving a pet home can be stressful for both the pet and their owner, which is why I make it a point to send at least a photo a day to the pet owner so they know all is well! I love the setting expectations part of meeting as it allows me to safely and confidently care for each pet!

Went above and beyond for Kirby! Noticed small things, like a potential tick in the house so I could prepare to have it treated while away from home.
Once again, I had a wonderful opportunity to use Madison to watch my cat Delilah. My cat has attached herself to Madison and developed a great trusting relationship always makes me feel comfortable when I’m out of town, knowing that she will care for her with full attention.

I don't have any breed preferences. All dogs are welcome! Ideally the dogs should be trained during walks and not pull, I want to be able to handle them safely. I would want to know a little more about your pet’s daily routines, likes/dislikes, habits and medical history if any, as well as certain foods/treats they can and cannot eat. Ideally, owners should provide food, treats, crates, favorite toys, and doggy bags when house sitting/dog walking.
A typical day
Each pets typical day can be extremely different! When I am doing check ins or house sitting I want your pet to feel like this is just a typical day in order to minimize their stress and maintain a sense of normalcy. While I am in a home I will tidy up, water plants, check mail, etc. if necessary!

Availability
Rover is my full time job. My availability is open and my calendar is updated weekly through the end of the year! I currently have two dogs of my own who love to play and run around our fenced in yard. Rover is my job and my lifestyle!
