Animal-Lover with Vast Experience
Pet care experience
I’m a graduated Masters student from UofSC who is happy to work with you to meet your pets needs! I love animals, and strive to bring your beloved pets (and you!) the best experience I can while you’re away. My experience with different species is as follows: Cats: I’ve owned and fostered cats from a young age, and am largely comfortable handling most services for them. I have experience with socializing semi-feral cats, providing medication (no vaccinations, IVs, etc. please), even basic trick training! It’s my pleasure to make sure your cat is attended to, and will go above and beyond to meet your cats needs. My rescue, Doodle, is my pride and joy and I aim to provide the same level of care I hope someone would for them. Dogs: I’ve spent the past three summers continuously dog-sitting, and love every minute of it. I have experience with all types of breeds, from Chihuahuas to Pitt Bulls to Pointers. I have several clients that are in the process of puppy training and manners training and can accommodate this during stays! Farm Animals: I’ve ridden and helped provide care for horses from the age of 4. I’m comfortable feeding, mucking, watering, helping with turn-in and out, etc. I have previous experience as a working student. Experience caring for ducks, ducklings, chicks, and chickens. Able to provide care for other species as well, with instruction. Reptiles: I’ve personally owned and cared for a bearded dragon, and assisted in the care for axolotls, geckos, and small snakes. I am unable to live feed mice at this time. Have an animal I haven’t listed yet? I’m still available! With experience from cats to turtles to fish to horses, I’m confident I’ll be able to meet your needs. It would be my pleasure to walk, visit, and care for your furry/scaly/best friend.
Reviews
Madison was great with our dogs! She was very responsive throughout the process and took care of our dogs as if they were her own. The house was left just as we left it and our dogs were in great spirits when we got home. Definitely recommend Madison and will again in the future!
Madison is the best ! Such a sweet person and takes great care of my boys.
Madison was amazing and so sweet to my boys. The house was perfect when we got home and my dogs were happy ! Nothing more I could’ve asked for! I would recommend her and will definitely be using her again!
Madison sent me nice updates and pictures and left my house clean. She also fed my frogs for me which can sometimes be a chore!

Respect for your property is of utmost importance when caring for your animals. I will leave your place in a better condition as when I arrived, and have references that will attest to this. I am fine with property surveillance inside and outside as long as cameras are disclosed.
Information Madison R. would like to know about your pet
I prefer to know a dog’s energy level, training experience, size, and any quirks/habits/etc that are pertinent to my care. I have no breed preference, and have worked with everything from the tiniest of Yorkies to a Great Dane mix.
A typical day
I love to adapt to animal’s needs! Have a puppy that needs mental stimulation? We can play games! A senior that prefers to amble along? Some of my favorites. I especially love to take dogs to the River Walk, but am perfectly happy walking where your dog is content. I’ll work with any cat on their own pace to make them comfortable with me - I have extensive experience working with timid cats.

Availability
I work full time in the area, but Rover because of my love for supporting animals and their families! I’m able to support weekend sits and drop ins, drop ins outside of 8-5 during the week (with some flexibility over lunch hours), and sits through the week so long as your animal is capable of being alone up to 5 hours.
