I've grown up with both dogs and cats all my life. From when I was born until when I was about 11 years old my family had two golden retrievers, Rufus and Ginger. I swear they were basically my siblings, at least that's how my family treated them! From then on we had German Shorthairs, Henry and Gogo, and a black lab mix, Penny. I've also had five cats over the years, all of whom lived full, happy, and extremely spoiled lives. I'm a very active person. I currently run cross country and track at the University of North Dakota and I'm living in Minneapolis for the summer. I am more than willing to take dogs on long walks or runs, depending on what you want for your pet. I also just miss my pets at home so I am excited about the opportunity to spend more time with animals!! In addition to living with animals, I've also volunteered at multiple humane societies and gotten experience with animal care in that sense. I volunteered for about 5 years at the Mower County Humane Society and for 1 year at Circle of Friends Humane Society up at school in Grand Forks.
