I have always had a connection with dogs, and an ability to calm upset dogs. I have grown up with many different dogs ranging in size and age with as young as only a few months to quite old dogs. I currently have two medium sized dogs, both very friendly with both people and other dogs. I believe that it is very important to reward good behavior, and this can be done through treats or through verbal praise and petting. Dogs cannot speak our language and so we need other ways to communicate with them, body language is very important. A dog is constantly monitoring your body language, and tone of voice, and is constantly giving you cues as to how they are feeling, we just need to be able to receive and interpret these cues, and this is something I have always been very good at.
