Doggy Daycare & Overnight Camp!

Pet care experience

**Please plan ahead for the doggy meet & greet! At the farm there are many dogs and other pets!** For more information about boarding please check ‘additional information’. I have experience working with animals with certain dietary needs/restrictions. I have the ability to give medicine to animals orally or topically, dressing wounds, and helping with hot spots on dogs and cats. I can also apply wraps, use animal protective clothing, and use cones or any other devices needed for the animal. Bottle or syringe feeding animals. Additionally, I am comfortable caring for most reptiles, fish, (indoor or outdoor), caged small animals, livestock animals, and I am willing to work with more exotic animals, (ex. hedgehog, emu, tarantulas, etc.) I am experienced in potty-training puppies, correcting behavior and leash training dogs.

Madison is AMAZING! Definitely taking our boy over on a regular basis for day trips and summer camp! He had a blast! <3

Madison is super great and caring with animals. I recently took an out-of-town trip to NY, but sadly had to leave my cat, Gizmo, home. I was initially stressed about leaving my fur baby, but Madison volunteered to look after him and I was instantly relieved. She followed instructions to "a T" and even knew how to work with my skittish little guy. I was able to enjoy my trip and relax, only needing to check on things once a day, confident as heck that Madison was on point.

Madison did a wonderful job watching my 2 cats and my lizard (leopard gecko). All 3 litter boxes were clean, my cats seemed very happy and my lizards cage was clean and had food in it. She does a great job of following instructions. I would recommend her to watch others pets she did a fantastic job.

Safety, trust & environment

I love updating people on their pets, so unless you say not too, I intend to send updates and photos of your pets! If your pet is to be boarded at my farm: A meet & greet is required for my pets and your dog(s) safety when boarding for the first time. Please check ‘Additional information’ for more. My property is fenced in, but because it is 5 acres I stay with my dogs 24/7, they do not ever leave my side or my sight. Safety is my number one concern, and it is extremely important to me, so if you, (or I) believe your dog may run from me, for it's safety it will be kept on a leash before exiting outside and then kept on a leash for each walk or play session outside until proven otherwise. Additionally, I am fine to crate dogs, I have multiple extra crates at my home if needed. Keeping animal dishes and sleep/play areas tidy and clean is a top priority. Collars, toys, playset, and bedding are always inspected to check for choking hazards or dirtiness. Car Rides: The safety of your pet when being transported is very important to me, So, I have dog seatbelts in my car that attach to harnesses, so incase of an accident your dog would also have a seat belt. Also, I always keep my windows locked, because dogs can accidentally open car windows. If I am pet-sitting at your home: If you have a fenced in yard, I always supervise outdoor time. If you do not have a fenced in yard, your dog will remain on a leash. If you want me to walk your dog for you, a leash will need to be provided. Keeping animal dishes and sleep/play areas tidy and clean is a top priority. Collars, toys, playset, and bedding can all be inspected to check for choking hazards or dirtiness. Litter boxes checked per visit or daily.

Boarding: I require a dog meet-up at my home if you plan to board overnight. A 15 minute run-around with the other dogs is all that is needed. If your dog has not met a cat we can also introduce them during this time, I have a dog-loving barn cat who loves to say hello. Please provide flea/tick parasite prevention medication information. Let me know what treats are allowed, I can provide a list of toys, treats, and bones that can be offered to your dog during their stay, (if allowed). I would like to know your dogs temperament and if they have any special needs. If you have any concerns please let me know. No animal needs is too much, I will treat your pet with upmost respect no matter what.

A typical day

When I am watching your fur babies I like to regularly take my dogs on walks around our property and bring toys along to play with. I love to play with dogs, sit on the floor with them and cuddle! I enjoy taking dogs on car rides, and to go swimming, (with life jackets). My dogs love to interact, (on the outside) with the chickens and ducks in my coop. Lastly, I have a very private road to walk your dogs on their leashes, if they need extra walking or training. Dogs in boarding are provided with clean and safe toys to play with and raw-hide free dog bones.

Routine is extremely important to my animals, so every morning as soon as I wake up I let my dogs out for a quick potty-break, then I will take my dogs to the back yard to run the fence line and play, (this usually for two hours). Then, I will take my dogs back to the house for their breakfast, (during this time I would normally administrate medicine or dressing wounds if needed). While my dogs are taking their daily nap, I will go outside to care for my livestock birds that are kept in a coop. Then, during the rest of the day my pets have my undivided attention, so usually every couple of hours they will be taken outside to play or bask in the sun. At night, my dogs get their dinner, go out for their nightly potty-break.
