Since the age of 7, I have grown up with a dog always around to love, to care for, and to play with. They require lots of attention, but the doggy kisses in return are the biggest reward! I find an unconditional love inside each dog, and just let them do their doggy thing! Whether that's playing fetch for hours on end, taking nap after nap, or just playing tug-a-war with them. I also thoroughly enjoy taking dogs on walks, but never as much as they love it! I allow them to stop and sniff the tree if that's what they so choose.
