Pet care experience
I grew up with foster dogs and special needs animals and quickly picked up dog training as a teenager and became very accustom to having a pack. I spent almost 3 years in between my part time job working with Rover clients and pet sitting before I moved on to work at a local dog hotel as a trainer and handler for about a year. In 2019 I focused all of my energy into training and raising Rue, my furry best friend and large lady. Rue is a shop dog and spends most of her day laying in front of our gift shop in the sun (yes it did take a lot of training to get her to just sit there all day) We’re hoping to get Rue certified to visit hospitals and nursing homes soon. I have experience with: -Special needs animals - Large animals - Easily activated animals or aggressive animals - Animals learning English (rescue animals from abroad) -Complex food preparation - Clicker training and ESL standard hand signal training

Madison has been a very caring and conscientious sitter for our overgrown pup, Phaedrus. She acknowledges and follows our care guidelines to a T, and is great about keeping us updated with photos and detailed texts. Our dog seems to really love her company! I would recommend her to anyone :)

Madison was fantastic! She was very attentive to all of our dog's needs and able to follow our long list of directions perfectly. She is super friendly and easy to work with and we came home to a perfectly clean and tidy apartment. She was a fantastic houseguest and a better caretaker. She made our time away from our pup completely worry-free. She will be our first call when we next need a sitter or walker!

I currently have a fully fenced backyard and live in a tiny house but will not be hosting dogs at my home due to my shared backyard. My neighbors dog is a little territorial.

A typical day
Rue and I love to go on long walks around the neighborhood or to the park. We walk at least twice a day and go on longer walks on Sundays.

Availability
I currently work from home part time so available for walks Sunday-Wednesday. Either solo walks or with Rue if your looking for additional socializing. We’ve used her to socialize dogs before.
