Loving Your Pets from Nose to Toes

Pet care experience

As a practicing veterinary assistant and an aspiring veterinary technician, I am able to provide a wider range of services for clients whose pets may require medical or behavioral assistance not offered by other pet professionals. Owners with pets who have medication administration needs (such as oral tablets or capsules, liquid suspensions, topical ointments, aural suspensions, or subcutaneous injections) are always welcome to book services with the peace of mind that treatments will be given promptly and appropriately. I received my Veterinary Medical Applications Certification from Elanco in 2021 through the Pathways Innovation Center in Casper and plan to enroll in the PennFoster Veterinary Technician program in fall of 2024. Previous pet history also gives me the knowledge to handle and care for pets who may have behavioral complications such as leash reactivity or separation anxiety. I am more than willing to work with owners on an individual basis to accommodate their pet’s needs and achieve the best possible experience for all parties.

Safety, trust & environment

When you book with me, your pet’s name and information will be placed into a private Google calendar set specifically for my clients. As your service date approaches, first time clients will have the opportunity to participate in a “meet and greet” between pet(s) and myself. This allows all parties to become acquainted prior to any trips or changes to the daily household routine. Upon arrival, your pet(s) will receive plenty of love and praise while also being quickly, yet thoroughly, inspected for any causes of concern. Based on services selected, your pet will have uninterrupted, quality interaction as well as have any other services provided in a timely manner. Prior to departure, you can rest easy knowing your sitter will take any and all necessary precautions to ensure your pet’s safety while alone.

Information Madison G. would like to know about your pet

Although I am comfortable with many pets and their various needs, please message before booking if any of the following prompts apply to you: •One or more of your pets weigh over 75 pounds. •One or more of your pets have a history of resource guarding, dog aggression, fear reactivity, leash reactivity, or any bite history. Please note this is a non-judgemental space and transparency will ensure your pet(s) receive the best possible care. •One or more of your pets require injectable medications, have recently had surgery or other procedure with recovery time, require mobility assistance, or any other specialized medical requests. •Your pet(s) are fed a raw diet or use any dietary aids such as a Murphy Bench. •Your female pet(s) are currently in heat or will likely begin heat during the service.

A typical day

Providing enrichment toys and stimulating your pets both physically and mentally can ease anxiety, and allow for a smooth transition when you are away. For pet sitting, owners may opt for excursions beyond the backyard to provide their pet with a sense of normalcy in their absence. For pets that prefer staying in familiar territory, a cuddle on the couch or a thrilling game of fetch in the backyard can bring even the most nervous pets out of their shell for some fun!

Beyond my employment at my regular 9-5, I spend lots of time outdoors and, with that, my retired service dog Winnie. Pets have always brought enrichment to my life and extending kindness in a bleak world is my true passion. Clients who book will have peace of mind knowing their pets will have the undivided attention of a sitter who loves them like family.
