Hi, I'm Madi! I’m a full-time college student studying psychology (100% online + at home). I grew up in Wichita, Kansas with a German Shepard mix pup named Sadie. I grew up around dogs and caring for them by walking and dog sitting! I just recently moved to Kansas City fall of 2022. Since I’ve left home, I haven’t had the chance to interact with dogs much. So, I thought getting this app would be the perfect fix! I have a huge love for animals and people. ❤️ Playing with dogs is such a fun experience for me and I miss doing it so much. I love meeting new dogs and learning their personalities and different needs. I absolutely love the outdoors and adventuring around the local KC/OP area. Dogs have always been such a huge part of my life and I would love to continue to have them as a huge part. I will give your dog unconditional love and a wonderful walking or sitting experience.

Our dog's 7-day stay with Madi was great and I know our dog appreciates the one on one time with a person without having other dogs around. Madi kept us updated with videos and pictures when we asked, took our dog on walks, and followed all our directions when it came to feeding and giving medication. I highly recommend Madi and we will definitely ask her to watch our dog again.

I live in a 2 bedroom apartment in Downtown Kansas City, my apartment complex is very dog friendly with lots of trails, parks, and stops for taking out doggy trash. I’m comfortable with dogs staying in my home with or without a kennel, whatever your dog is most comfortable with.

Please let me know if your dog has any behaviors rise while being in a new environment. Sometimes dogs can get very frightened in an environment they aren’t familiar with (fair enough!), but this means that they might act differently than they would at home. Some examples include: having accidents, spitting up, not eating, etc. I want to make my home as comfortable as possible for your pup, so please let me know how I can make that possible!
A typical day
I LOVE to take the dogs I watch to parks with me! I love walking around, exploring new areas, and finding a comfy spot to sit and play with your pup. Another one of my favorite activities to do is to take the dogs to Starbucks to get a pup cup! (Only if the owner permits) The dogs love it so much, it’s such a fun treat for them.
