Pet care experience
I have been around dogs and cats my whole life. When I was about 11 or 12, my parents started asking me to walk our two dogs, which I did happily. Around that time, I started advertising myself as a dog walker and started getting paid jobs as a dog and house sitter. Since then, I have stayed in several client's homes while taking care of 1-4 dogs, cats (and chinchillas!) at a time. I enjoy taking long walks and can be counted on to give each dog I take care of the care, attention, and exercise they deserve. I am responsible and can be relied on to be on time and to not cancel at the last minute. I have a good attention to detail and can be trusted to do as the dog owner wants for their dog, however specific the request. I have experience administering medication as well as caring for senior pets and pets with diabetes.

I would like to know how the dog is around both other dogs and kids. I don't want to feel unprepared for a situation if a dog gets aggressive with another dog or child.
A typical day
I live in midtown Tucson and have access to many parks in the area. I love to hike and explore and having the company of a dog is always a bonus. When in my care, it’s likely we will go walking several times a day! I will also happily throw a ball or rope for dogs, if they like playing fetch :)

I work part time and have a very flexible schedule so I am easily able to fit pet care and house sitting into my daily and weekly routine.
