I want to be a dog sitter because I love dogs and I care that they are being treated with love and respect. My past experience with dogs has been owning 3 dogs, also dog-sitting and dog-walking for various family friends. I love taking dogs on walks and taking them to the park to play because knowing that they are happy and getting exercise makes me very happy. A dog in my care would see a lot of outside adventures, play time and petting. I live very close to the beach, so I would most likely take them there to play and run around. I will be working but my job is very close to my home and I would be able to check on them whenever I need to. I will be able to spend a substantial amount of time with the dog because my job is part time. I have 2 housemates who will be present during the care of the animal and who will also give them lots of love. I will also have my dog at my house and she will love having a buddy to play with! She is very sweet and accepting to other dogs. I will make sure that the dogs are comfortable or where they need to be if I were to step out of the room, if they were feeding or if i notice that one is becoming fearful. If I am taking care of a small dog and a large dog at the same time I will make sure that they both get a long before I take any further action. If they do not get used to each other I will be able to separate them and keep them both comfortable. I will first introduce them by seeing if how they react when they see each other and then allow them to meet while I stand close by.
